This home was perfect for the party of 8 that we had. All the beds were comfy including the pull out in the family room, not to mention the super soft sheets that made you want to stay in bed all day. Environment inside and out was immaculate, comfortable and inviting. The kitchen is fully stocked with whatever you need as if it was your own kitchen. We were sad to leave the home at the end of our weekend getaway. Courtney and Josh were very kind and easy to work with and will definitely be booking this house again in the future. - Diana
We were a group of 6 people and three dogs going to this home and it fit all of our needs very well. Plenty of room but still cozy feeling. I really enjoyed all the artwork and nick knacks around the home. Really had a nice quaint feel. We also really liked that the entire property was fenced so the dogs could roam around and enjoy all the sites and smells safely. We all had a really great time. The only thing I would request would be sharper knives for the kitchen (as we all did a lot of cooking while there) and maybe some newer mattresses for more comfort while sleeping. Would definitely recommend this place for a nice getaway. It's only about a ten minute drive to town but feels nice and secluded as well. :) - Amy

The host was very flexible and very accommodating! The house is huge and great for a big group to have a fun weekend in the mountains! You feel very secluded in the beautiful property but we loved that town was only a few minutes away! - Jessie

We travel to this area a couple of times a year. We always check to see if this home is available. If it is, we BOOK it! It's a great house, it is clean and the owner/manager is professional and accountable. Great location. Great place to stay. You won't be disappointed. - Anonymous
Thank you so much for such an incredible weekend. We were lucky enough to get some snow and were able to simply camp out at the house for the entire weekend, avoiding the crowds coming up for the snow. We feel so incredibly lucky and like we got the best of both worlds in terms of what Julian has to offer. The house was comfortable and the perfect set up for our two families. The kids had a blast running around and playing on the property and we loved watching them from the comfort of the lovely porch or back patio. We did not bring any dogs, but loved how dog friendly the house was, with leashes, food & water bowl, toys etc. We would love to make it up again and this house is definitely the perfect place to stay...I've even recommended it to friends and family! - Ciria
Beautiful, cozy home with fireplace and hot tub in the country. We brought our 2 dogs and they loved the fully fenced in yard where they could run. Kitchen is fully equipped. Very close to downtown Julian and easy to get to everything. - Kristin
We spent 2 glorious nights at this beautiful house and enjoyed our stay immensely! The fact that we could bring our dog along was a bonus! We will be looking to stay again in the next few weeks. - Sha
I stayed here for a week while our home was being renovated. This vacation home was better than the pictures! Beautiful home and property. Had 2 of my dogs with me and they loved the fenced two acres. So quiet and peaceful. Was able to unwind after 1 hour of being there. Thanks go out to the owner Lauri. She was very responsive and nice. If you LOVE peace and quiet this is the vacation home for you! The surrounding area and the town of Julian is just a perfect mountain get away. I don't have children but I can imagine them having a BLAST with that barn all set up for fun! Lots of hiking nearby. Shopping galore in Julian. Fantastic restaurants; and of course all those homemade pies! - Robyn
This perfect home was located less than 2 miles from Julian city center. This perfect location gave my wife and I plenty of options from hiking and shopping to wine and beer tasting throughout the day. House sits on lots of land and is completly fenced in if you have a dog that likes to run around. Directions to the house as well as on how to use the hot tub, heat, appliances, etc were easy to understand and perfect. Owner responded quickly to any inquiries about the property and even processed the security deposit refund within three business days without needing to be asked! Our small group of 4 enjoyed our weekend getaway and the cool mountain air. In the summer months with the bedroom in the barn outside, this house could easily sleep 10+. One of the best working gas grills I've ever experienced at a rental home. Thank you for your hospitality, it was a pleasure and we will be back! - Andrew
Stayed at Chez Pomme 4 days/3 nights with some friends and had a really great time. Fantastic vacation spot for dog owners. The four we had with us had an absolute blast thanks to the large fenced property and about a half foot of snow. The living room was a great area for the group to hang out in and the kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, etc, allowing us to cook for ourselves during our stay. The master bedroom was surprisingly large (if you planned on sleeping 8, I'd actually recommend doubling up in the master with an air mattress so you didn't need to sacrifice the living room to the pull out bed) and while the other bedrooms were smaller, they were cozy and comfortable. Do yourself a favor and check this place out, especially if you want to make sure your dogs will have as great a time on vacation as you will. - Null
